Monday Lunch Mtg., Derry Township Community Cats

Debra Farrington and Patricia Boyle are on the board of the Derry Township Community Cats, the organization within Derry Township that works to reduce the free roaming cat population through a process called Trap/Neuter/Return. The organization is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, working with the blessing of Township Supervisors and with the assistance of the Derry Township Police Department, to help local residents with outdoor cat concerns in a humane way, and one that saves the Township budget funds.  Patricia, who was featured in an article in The Sun a few months ago, has been working to trap and care for cats for more than ten years.  Debra has been involved with the program for the past three years and is currently President of the Board of Directors and has managed her own pet sitting business for the last nine years.
