SPEAKER: Melissa Miller, Executive Director, Downtown Hershey Association
Join us Monday, May 23 when we will hear from Melissa Miller, the Executive Director of the Downtown Hershey Association. Melissa joined the DHA earlier this year and brings with her extensive experience with community building, event planning, and fundraising. .
The Downtown Hershey Association [DHA] was established in 2011 to bring together businesses, local organizations, and community leaders to create a more livable, walkable, and enjoyable downtown. Since its establishment the DHA has presented a variety of programs and events to encourage people to come and enjoy downtown Hershey, including a weekly Saturday market, a summer concert series held on the second Saturday, and a Choctoberfest held in October featuring beers, bands, and bit. DHA also works with Derry Township Parks and Recreation to present Hershey’s annual Holiday Tree Lighting celebration, held on the first Saturday in December. DHA’s mission is to enhance the beauty of the downtown, attract new businesses, and improve the quality of life for everyone.
