At the meeting on November 25, the Club made contributions to about 18 local organizations and heard emotional and inspirational messages from the recipients.

Those contributions constitute a measure of our commitment toward making a difference in the community. As the season for caring, and sharing is upon us, we are thankful that we can share our treasure of service and funds with over 50 well-deserving individuals and organizations from the youth exchanges, to community activities, to student scholarships, and to global grants. May those connections always be strong and meaningful!

On December 9, the Club will hold an Assembly at which we will take stock of what we have been doing and where we are headed in realizing our vision and goals. Come share your wisdom and, at the same time, sign up for upcoming activities.

There will also be a collection for the food bank at that meeting.

On December 16, at the annual Christmas lunch (and the last meeting of this year), we will have an opportunity to illustrate the primary object of Rotary, the development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service. There is, indeed, great cause for such fellowship and camaraderie, (with music from the Milton Hershey School Guitar Ensemble), so please plan to attend with your spouse or friend to celebrate our core values: using the ideal of service, as global citizens, to make a difference to others in the form of food, shelter, health, education, sustainability, economic stability, and conflict resolution.
Truly a cause for celebration!

Tickets (cost is $29 per person) can be ordered by contacting Jack Bogrette at bogrette_7@msn.com or call 717 641-4303.

The Club looks forward to seeing you.

Very best wishes for a happy and healthy holiday season and a fulfilling New Year.
