We have a very busy and exciting meeting planned for Monday, January 22, 2018 at the Hershey Lodge in Cocoa Suite 1/Terrace. We will start at Noon. We have a very youth-focused meeting featuring January Students of the Month, Hershey Community Youth Alliance Program Overview (HCYA Interact Club members from HHS and MHS to present), and MHS student Susanna Compare will present her winning speech from the Four-Way Test Speech Contest.
 
Donations for the Hershey Food Bank will again be accepted at the meeting on January 22nd, 2018.  Please put "Hershey Food Bank" on the Memo line of any checks.
 
Volunteers are needed again this year for the Bologna Fest in Lebanon on January 27, 2018. Mark your calendars and look for sign-up information from Hershey Rotarian Kathy Schmidt.
 
The Hershey High Musical/Valentine Luncheon will be on Monday, February 12, 2018 at the Hershey Country Club in the Picard Pavilion. Jack Bogrette will take reservations on Monday, January 29th and Monday, February 5th. The cost for the special buffet will be $24.00 per person.
 
The Hershey Community Youth Alliance will be holding its Annual Talent Show on March 10, 2018 at Hershey High School. There will be more than 20 acts from talented Hershey High School and Milton Hershey School students. You do not want to miss this outstanding presentation of talent. Look for additional information closer to the event.
 
The District 7390 Conference is scheduled for April 27th and Apr 28, 2018 at the Harrisburg Hilton 1 North 2nd Street in Harrisburg. The Hershey Rotary Club is always well represented at the District Conference, please mark your calendars and plan to attend.
 
We are currently at $10,000+ of our $12,000 Rotary Foundation goal for this year. Members are encouraged to please consider giving any amount you are able to help the Club membership meet our goal for 2017-18. More information on this goal will be shared in the coming weeks.
 
There is a Rotary Club of Hershey Board Meeting scheduled for Friday, January 19, 2018 at 7:30 AM at Kinderhaus School History & Heritage Center located at 635 Meadow Lane on the campus of Milton Hershey School. The meeting is open to all members.
 
Mark Your Calendars: There will be NO MEETING on Monday, February 19th on Presidents Day.
