The Youth Exchange Committee will meet on Monday 8/14 following the luncheon meeting to discuss plans for the upcoming youth exchange year. Any member who would like to be part of this committee is welcome to attend, new members are invited! The first of two "All Rotary Group C Social Events" scheduled by Assistant Governor Ray Delo is scheduled this Wednesday, August 16th at Troegs in Hershey from 5:00 to 6:30 PM. This event is coordinated by the Hershey Rotary Club for all of Rotary Group C which includes the clubs from Hummelstown, Palmyra, Myerstown (ELCO), Northern Lebanon and Lebanon. The SECOND event is scheduled for Tuesday, October 24th at Snitz Creek Brewery located in downtown Lebanon. This event at Snitz Creek is part of a districtwide initiative called PINTS FOR POLIO. A percentage of each beverage purchased that evening at restaurants and breweries across the district goes to fight polio. Look for additional details on both these events from Assistant Governor Ray Delo.
The 2017 Hershey Rotary 4-Way Test Speech Contest will be held on Wednesday, October 4 at the Hershey Lodge. This will be the content of the Wednesday Rotary meeting for the night. Our meetings usually are in the Tower Suites meeting room, near the elevator bank; we'll confirm the location closer to the meeting.
